Last week members and their guests had the pleasure of taking a sculpture class for beginners lead by Amelia Saint George. It was thoroughly enjoyable! In a beautiful studio in Valletta with the sounds of the market hawkers drifting in, each of the 6 students worked away at their benches.
We expected to make something simple like a bowl or a cup, but our instructor knew we were capable of much more. Step-by-step she led us through the process of sculpting our own hands. Amelia is a talented and insightful instructor with a talent for encouraging the student to dig out their creative skills.
