Evening Lecture - The Ballet career of Daphne Palmer Morewood
We are delighted that one of our members, Daphne Palmer Morewood, will kindly present the lecture in May, about her career in ballet, in both London and Malta. Daphne came from the Poutiatine school of dance and is one of Malta’s pioneering ballerinas.

About the Event
After a brief period of study with Poutiatine, Daphne, known professionally as Daphne Lungaro-Mifsud, was offered a seven-year scholarship at the school of Irene Grandison Clark in London. As part of her studies, she performed at the Royal Albert Hall, the Palace Theatre and at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. Daphne started teaching in 1965 in Malta.
